Why You’ll Love These Muffins
These muffins are soft, fluffy, moist, and packed with chocolate chips.
The combination of Greek yogurt and butter helps create a delicious texture while keeping the muffins light and tender.
Prepare the Oven and Muffin Tin
Start by preheating your oven to 375°F.
Prepare your muffin tin by adding muffin liners or giving it a quick spray with cooking spray.
This helps prevent sticking and makes cleanup easier.
Mix the Dry Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine the dry ingredients.
Add:
- Flour
- Baking soda
- Salt
- Sugar
Whisk everything together until well combined, then set the bowl aside.
Prepare the Wet Ingredients
Grab a medium-sized bowl and add the butter.
Microwave it for about 20 seconds, give it a stir, and then microwave for another 15 to 20 seconds. The butter should be soft and mostly melted.
Once ready, add:
- Greek yogurt
- Milk
- Egg
- Vanilla extract
Whisk everything together until smooth and well combined.
Combine the Batter
Pour the wet ingredients into the bowl containing the dry ingredients.
Using a spatula or a large spoon, gently stir until just combined.
Avoid overmixing. The batter should have a thicker consistency.
Add the Chocolate Chips
Gently fold the chocolate chips into the batter until evenly distributed.
For an extra chocolatey finish, sprinkle a few additional chocolate chips on top before baking.
Fill and Bake
Fill each muffin cup almost to the top with batter.
Bake for approximately 15 to 17 minutes.
The muffins are ready when a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Many batches finish at around 15 minutes, but baking times may vary slightly depending on the oven.
Serving and Enjoying
Once baked, allow the muffins to cool slightly before serving.
The result is a batch of fluffy, moist, and chocolate-filled muffins that are perfect for sharing with family and friends.
These Greek Yogurt Chocolate Chip Muffins come together with simple ingredients and easy preparation.
The combination of Greek yogurt, butter, and chocolate chips creates a soft texture and delicious flavor that makes them a family favorite.
